Genzyme, a leading bio-technology company whose products focus on genetic diseases, multiple sclerosis, cardiovascular disease and endocrinology, has operated a business in Monrovia since 2005 in our High Tech Corridor - until recently.
Just last week the Genzyme sign came down and it was replaced with a sign from
LabCorp at 655 E. Huntington Drive. The permanent sign replacement will be discussed at this week's
Development Review Committee.
This business shuffle actually goes back to 2010, when LabCorp bought the genetics unit from Genzyme.
Side Note: According to their web site, LabCorp is
hiring at its Monrovia location.
